There is no single answer to this, as every person's healing journey is entirely unique. Research has shown that the relationship between a therapist and a client is the single biggest predictor of success in therapy. It is incredibly important to me that we both feel like a great team. Because of this, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This gives us a low-pressure opportunity to talk, ask questions, and see how it feels to interact before making a commitment.

Absolutely. What you share in our sessions is fully private and legally protected. The only rare exceptions where I am legally mandated to break confidentiality involve safety: if you present an imminent threat of harm to yourself or someone else, if there is suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or if I am legally compelled by a court order or subpoena.
